The world’s prominent Game Publisher Niantic Inc., the company behind the existence of reality game Pokemon Go, stirs  the world of both young and adults as they enjoy the thrill of chasing monsters using their android and smartphones.

Pokemon Go is a location-based and real-life game designed for iPhones and android devices first scattered in selected nations in July 2016. Players are required to open their mobile’s GPS in order to locate, capture, fight, and even train imaginary creatures popularly known as Pokemon. Characters involved in this game appear on the screen as if they existed at the same site and position of the player. The fictional creatures have their own unusual powers to defend themselves while being scouted by the players. Users are encouraged to explore the environment and accumulate various Pokemon as plenty as they can and let them battle against each other in order to advance.  

Recently, Pokemon Go was released in the Philippines reaching over millions of downloads and users. Starting from either curiosity or intense pressures from the society, people began to cuff their phone on their hands while roaming around neighbourhoods, streets, public areas hunting for pocket monsters. This trendy game attracts most Filipinos to be totally swayed by the entertainment it offers. This may allow users to meet new people, bond more with friends, takes them to different places, be connected, and even teaches them how to deal little encounter of circumstances. The youngs and teens specifically, are hooked on this game because of its luring surprises and new experiences yet familiar and unique features of this phenomenon. 

Many years ago the concept of Pokemon go had already been introduced commonly called as Pokemon blue. However, this old game was not technologically advanced as compared to today’s big hit. The clever access of GPS, camera, and other information, trigger the users’ old obsession providing illusion while remembering old memories.
