Skyway Patrol for the win!

While on the way home from doing errands at the German embassy, the taxi that we rode travelled via Skyway and in the middle of it, we heard a big bang that came from the vehicle. We thought It was just a flat tire, but it turns out the starter broke. The taxi driver pulled over to check out what he could do to get us back on our way again. 

A few seconds later, the Skyway patrol came up from behind us, as if they magically appeared. The patrolmen kindly asked us to step out and wait for another vehicle to pick us up, but I explained to him that my husband could not stand and wait outside due to the pain he experiences in his leg, without hesitation, the two patrolmen decided to offer us a ride back home. 

I was surprised and in awe with their actions because I never thought Skyway Patrol would extend their services way beyond what they’re supposed to do. 

The two patrolmen were very accommodating, polite, helpful and friendly. The only regret that I have been not able to ask for his name since I was overwhelmed by the whole thought of the situation.

When we arrived home and we bid our goodbyes and said thank you… He stepped into the car and used his megaphone and said “Skyway patrol will always take care of you.”

I extend my gratitude to the service of Skyway and it’s patrolmen who are ready 24/7 to serve those in need.
